Actually the recommended install is bit straight from Microsoft. You'd need to check under account to see what your installation is, but by default Office installs bit, so unless you went out of your way to install the bit version, i doubt you are running it. I am using a utility that copies database files to and from a proprietary file that allows easy transportation between systems.
The installed version of Access is 32 bit and the pc is accwss bit. When I run the odbcad I am able to use the utility load the text file to SQL Server database and I will use that as a work around. I have a couple more tests to try and I will keep you posted if I cannot get it to work. Thanks again. Because you can not have the two driver's with the same version of Office, what I did was Install Office 32 bits and then Acess Runtine version 64 bits. This solved my problem.
