Really didn't dirvers to go back into the Protools world again as LPX just works for me and protools was always a bit clunky. But if the has full functionality with the current PT version it might be worth a dabble again. I think you will find the automation will work as normal with whichever version of Pro Figi you can get up and running on your current Mac, the main issue is being able to see the as connected. At first I thought I could install a Digidesign core audio driver and make the show up. But I did not find any such driver available for download on the Digidesign site.
Digidesign does say the new Mac Pros and OS Does this mean I need to buy Pro Tools 8, install it, and that's where I will get the driver that makes the show up in Logic? Or another way of putting it, are you not able to use Digi hardware as your Logic interface unless you also have Pro Tools installed on your Mac? Any advice much appreciated, Jim.
